A Tom Fazio creation, this second oceanfront course at Puntacana Resort & Club opened in 2010, featuring six oceanfront holes set on rocky cliffs next to the Caribbean Sea. Designed along the natural cliffs, bays and coves of the sea, the inland lakes and coralina quarries the Corales Course rates among the World's finest golf experiences. Corales boasts one of golf’s most magnificent finishes: the last three holes, called the Devil’s Elbow, culminate in a striking, U-shaped 18th that plays around a narrow, bluff-edged Bay of Corales, as an inspired capstone to a memorable and breathtaking golf experience.
The course hosts the Web.com Tour’s first tournament in the Dominican Republic - the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship - in June of each year, in a deal set to run until at least 2019. With the Resort owning and operating the Punta Cana International Airport, flight paths are detoured as not to disturb the peace of this exclusive residential community nor to break the concentration of the Club’s golfers. There is a Grill and Nineteenth Hole Bar at the Clubhouse and on course Beverage Cart service. Caddies are mandatory at the Corales Golf Club.
