Opened in October 2008 to worldwide acclaim, Banyan Golf Club was quickly established as Asia’s best new course in 2009. Boasting panoramic ocean and mountain views, pineapple patches, bougainvillea beds and of course, Banyan trees, come into play on this hillside course that snugly nestles amidst rocky mountains. Four types of grasses, strategic water hazards, waste bunkers and sand traps make for an unforgettable journey across one of the best golf courses in entire South East Asia.
Lying outside the charming coastal town of Hua Hin, which has been the preferred holiday retreat of the Thai Royal Family, the course nestles in a mostly-enclosed, bucolic bowl without a home or resort in sight. The signature 15th hole is a 139 yard par-3 with stunning ocean views all the way to Singoh Island on the Gulf of Thailand. The clubhouse, set on high grounds overlooks the Burmese Mountains and features the multi-cuisine Terrace Restaurant and the popular watering hole, Mulligan's Pub.
