Booking Terms & Conditions
PAYMENTS – An initial deposit (varying between 20% and 50% of the total trip amount) is required to confirm your reservation. Full payment is required no later than 60 days prior to departure. If full payment is not received 60 days prior to travel, your reservations may be canceled without notice and cancellation penalties applied per the Cancellation Policy below.
PRICING – All prices are valid at time of quotation and based on exchange rates in effect at that time. Prices are subject to change without notice until deposit payment is received.
FINANCIAL PROTECTION – We are covered by a complete tour operator Professional Liability insurance policy. This insurance provides our clients added peace of mind should we make a mistake or should anything go wrong. A copy of our insurance certificate is available for review upon request.
INSURANCE – Trip cancellation and travel insurance is highly recommended. Information regarding travel insurance is provided to all clients at the time of booking or upon request. Clients who choose not to purchase travel insurance are required to sign an Insurance Waiver Agreement. Residents of the European Union or United Kingdom are required to provide proof of insurance cover.
CANCELLATION POLICY – Written notice of your cancellation should be mailed, emailed, or faxed to International Golf Adventures as soon as possible. The following cancellation fees will apply:
• The initial deposit amount is non-refundable.
• 50% of tour cost will be charged between 59 and 30 days prior to departure
• 75% of tour cost will be charged between 29 and 15 days prior to departure
• No refund will be given for cancellations made within 14 days of departure.
• No refunds will be made for unused portions of the itinerary.
International Golf Adventures reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service and to decline to accept or retain any tour member at any time for any reason. FOR UK DESTINATIONS ONLY: No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 60 days prior to departure.
LAST-MINUTE RESERVATIONS – Bookings received 60 days or less prior to departure will be accepted only on full payment basis. If requested services cannot be confirmed, all money will be refunded. If services are confirmed, all applicable cancellation penalties will apply.
REFUNDS – There will be no refunds for unused package tour services or features, including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or missed flights, unused meals, missed sightseeing tours, missed tee-times, unused entrance fees, and accommodations. No terms set forth in this brochure may be changed by anyone other than an authorized representative of International Golf Adventures, and in order for those changes to be deemed acceptable, they must be documented in writing. International Golf Adventures is not obliged to guarantee promises (written or verbal) made by local hotel staff, tour guides, local agents, or any other persons not under direct employ of International Golf Adventures.
CHANGES – Any changes made by the customer after a tour has been confirmed will be subject to a $35 per person charge, plus any expenses imposed by suppliers as a result of these changes. Exception: The change fee shall be $80 per person for UK destinations.
AIR TRAVEL – Our prices are quoted without airfare. If air tickets are provided by International Golf Adventures, cost of airfare is due must be received before tickets are purchased. International Golf Adventures is not responsible for cancelled or delayed flights and appropriate travel insurance is highly recommended. Many clients choose to use frequent flier miles or private aviation options. Upon request, our travel experts will assist you in finding appropriate flights. Tickets issued by International Golf Adventures may or may not be accepted by airlines frequent flyer programs.
GOLF COURSE SELECTION – All golf is subject to availability. Golf courses of similar standing may be substituted without notice. The sequence of the courses listed in your itinerary may also change due to course availability.
GOLF HANDICAP – All golfers should carry a current handicap card or certificate which is required by some golf clubs featured in our tours. Maximum handicap restrictions apply for some courses. Failure to show a handicap certificate may result in your being refused access to some golf courses.
CARTS AND CADDIES – Electric carts or buggies are available on a limited basis at most courses. Some courses require their use, while others only permit their use with the presentation of a physician's medical certificate. Some courses require the use of caddies or forecaddies whether or not electric carts are used. Cost of electric carts and caddies is not included in the price of the tour unless stated otherwise.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS – Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of similar standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin or double bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically paid for an upgraded room category. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel’s management. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. All hotel rates are based on International Golf Adventures agreements with its suppliers and are not negotiable. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. Please be sure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been taken into consideration when a late night flight is being used.
CAR RENTAL – Drivers must be 25 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. An International Driving Permit is also required for driving in some countries. Unlimited mileage, local value added taxes (VAT), and collision damage waiver insurance (CDW) are included. Rates do not include gasoline and personal accident insurance. Prices are based on 24 hour clock period. Additional payment may be required based on pick up and drop off times. Major credit card or cash security deposit may be required at time of rental. Optional excess waiver protection may be offered locally.
PERSONAL REASSURANCE – Our local partners and agents are carefully vetted and chosen to ensure that they are the very best at what they do. In addition, clients in all countries are given a 24/7 emergency telephone number to an English speaking person who is available throughout the duration of their trip.
RESPONSIBILITIES – International Golf Adventures has contracted with independent contractors in securing the services provided in their tours and is not responsible or liable for any negligent act and/or omissions of these independent contractors, their employees, agents, or representatives. International Golf Adventures gives notice that in issuing coupons, vouchers or tickets for travel or transport by any means, for golf, hotels or other accommodations, they are acting not as principals but as agents only for the companies, corporations or persons providing or offering their service. International Golf Adventures is not responsible or liable, with respect to person or property, for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity however sustained or suffered during any trip or tour arranged by them.
WAIVER – The customer waives any claim against International Golf Adventures, its employees, agents and principals for (a) any loss of or damage to property or injury to any person caused by reason of any defect, negligence, or other wrongful act or omission of, or any failure of performance of any kind; (b) any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, mental distress or other similar matter; (c) any delayed departure, missed connections, substitutions of accommodations or other services, terminations of service, or change in fares or rates; and (d) any cancellation or double booking of reservations beyond the direct control of International Golf Adventures. International Golf Adventures does not accept any responsibility for losses or other additional expenses due to delays or changes, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, weather, acts of God or other causes. Any such losses or expenses are to be borne by the customer.
GROUP LEADERS, TRAVEL AGENTS AND RE-SELLERS – Warrant that each traveler has reviewed the preceding Terms and Conditions and that furthermore each customer fully understands that they are subject to the said Terms and Conditions.
